Checking your notifications could soon be as simple as dragging down on the fingerprint sensor digitalis your Nexus phone
This is the latest rumor to emerge about how Google plans to bring more exclusive features software to differentiate the Nexus line of other Android smartphones.

Also note that Google can change the softkeys at the bottom of the screen, filling the square and the triangle and adding some color of the home button in the middle . The blue and green dots in the image above are part of a blocked animated bug, and will not be sitting there like that in the final version.
We do not know if it would be available for the Nexus 6P and 5X or just new Nexus phones coming later this year. If it's just a software capability, then it should not be a problem. If there is some type of tweak specific material being added to the sensor, then it will be exclusive to the new Nexus phones.
Why: This is Nexus rumor season, so this is probably one of many that will float our way in the coming weeks. Google is clearly the use of the upcoming launch of Nexus as a way to cook in its services more deeply into the operating system and possibly other manufacturers show how they could do the same. Or, at least, to differentiate more Nexus and provide value beyond the Android experience stock.
