LG announced that it is launching the V20 in September, making it the first smartphone to out of the box with Android Nougat (7.0).
The phone is monitoring the V10, which was definitely an outlier with its dual screens and cameras facing forward. LG said that these features will be back with a 32-bit DAC (digital to analog converter). This is a first for a smartphone, and promises to improve the audio experience.
The audio and video capabilities V10 were among his strengths, but the second screen seemed like a weird add-on did not offer much practical value.
LG did not provide other features or details on what others can be found in the V20, so we will be watching closely when more information about the leaks.
Why: LG could beat Google to the punch when it comes to release the first phone with Android Nougat. Google announced the Nexus 5X and 6P at the end of September last year, and the company retains the same time, the V20 should be on the market before the new Nexus phones. Although Google has hinted more software enhancements are coming to the Nexus line, it should be worth the wait. Naturally, the current Nexus phones will receive an update Nougat before any new phones ship with it.
